OpenSoon

Regions / East Midlands · England

Every new restaurant, takeaway and café in the East Midlands, in your Monday prospect list.

OpenSoon is a weekly B2B list of every restaurant, café, takeaway, pub and hotel that registers, opens or closes in the East Midlands, taken from the council food registers. Suppliers and sales teams get it every Monday as CSV and Excel, with each venue's stage, Companies House match and business contacts where found, for £99 a month.

The East Midlands combines three big cities close together (Nottingham, Leicester and Derby) with large rural counties in Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and the Peak District. Most new venues register in the cities and the county towns, so a short list of councils accounts for much of each week.

Covers Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Lincoln, Northampton, Loughborough, Chesterfield, Mansfield and every other council area in the East Midlands.

The East Midlands market

Leicester's Golden Mile and city centre add South Asian restaurants, sweet centres and takeaways all year. Nottingham adds bars, student-focused casual dining and cafés, and Derby has a growing independent scene around its Cathedral Quarter.

Outside the cities, market towns and the Peak District villages see pubs, tearooms and farm-shop cafés open, often timed for the visitor season in Derbyshire and along the Lincolnshire coast at Skegness.
