OpenSoon

Regions / Yorkshire and the Humber · England

Sell to Yorkshire's new restaurants, cafés and pubs while they're still choosing suppliers.

OpenSoon is a weekly B2B list of every restaurant, café, takeaway, pub and hotel that registers, opens or closes in Yorkshire and the Humber, taken from the council food registers. Suppliers and sales teams get it every Monday as CSV and Excel, with each venue's stage, Companies House match and business contacts where found, for £99 a month.

Yorkshire and the Humber has two very different markets in one region: the big West and South Yorkshire cities, where takeaways and casual dining open every week, and the tourist towns and national parks of North Yorkshire, where tearooms, pubs and inns dominate.

Covers Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, York, Hull, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Doncaster and every other council area in Yorkshire and the Humber.

The Yorkshire and the Humber market

Leeds has the region's busiest centre, with steady openings in the city centre, Headingley and Chapel Allerton. Sheffield's Kelham Island and Division Street, Bradford's curry restaurants and dessert parlours, and Hull's old town and marina keep the urban list long.

York, Harrogate, Whitby and Scarborough, plus villages in the Dales and the North York Moors, add cafés, tearooms and pubs, many of which open or change hands before the spring visitor season.

Questions

How do I get a list of new restaurants opening in Yorkshire and the Humber?

Subscribe to the Yorkshire and the Humber feed for £99 a month. Every Monday you get that week's newly registered, newly opened and closed food businesses in Yorkshire and the Humber as CSV and Excel, plus a private web page with past weeks. Venues register with the council 28 days before trading, so many are on the list before they open. A free sample is available first.

Yes. Since April 2023 North Yorkshire Council keeps a single food register for the former districts, and York remains separate. The council column in each record shows which one registered the venue.

Does the file cover the Humber bank south of the river?

Yes. North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire (including Grimsby and Scunthorpe) are part of Yorkshire and the Humber.
